Description
Different motivations behind serial killing
M10 Discussion Activity – Serial Killers
Discussion Instructions
For this discussion, please answer the following question. This week we talked about a number of different motivations behind serial killing. Some of these motivations include killing for the thrill, killing for company, a mission, visions, power and control, etc. However, we did not discuss what causes someone to become a serial killer. What makes a serial killer?
For this discussion, you are to identify two possible causes or explanations for why someone becomes a serial killer and explain why you think this is the case for each. Think about factors that may be internal to an individual as well as things in their environment that may lead to serial killing.
