Discussion Instructions For this discussion, please answer the following question. One of the solutions suggested in the presentation for domestic poaching was the use of crime scene investigative techniques to solve crimes against animals. The video link on Slide 12 describes how this process is currently being used. What are your thoughts on the use of advanced scientific techniques to solve poaching crimes? Do you think this is a good idea Why or why not? These are expensive analyses to perform and require specialized training…who should pay for these costs–the government, the landowner where the poaching is occurring, someone else? Should we be using these techniques on poaching crimes when they are not even available to all law enforcement agencies in the US to solve crimes against persons? In general, provide your thoughts on the issue of animal crime scene investigation.
In addition, to receive full credit for the discussion, you will also have to respond to at least one classmate’s post.
